Start en finish

The starting locations of the Mar-athon Sneek differ per distance. Participants of the 21.1K (Half Mar-athon) and 7.5K will be taken to the starting locations by shuttle buses. These starting locations can only be reached by shuttle bus, it is not possible to travel with your own transport. Along the way, the 7.5K runners will join the 21.1K (Half Mar-athon) course so it will become one ribbon of runners towards the finish on the Martiniplein in Sneek.

21.1K (Half Mar-athon)

Starting time: 18:00 - 19.00 hrs

Starting location: Terherne

Shuttle bus P+R Schuttersveld > start: 17.00 - 18.00 hrs

7.5K

Starting time: 19:00 - 19.45 hrs

Starting location: Recreational area De Potten

Shuttle bus P+R Schuttersveld > start: 18.30 - 19.30 hrs

Finish

It is possible to finish until 22:00. The finish is on the Mar-tiniplein and you can relax or reminisce (both is of course also possible!) at the Midzo-mar festival. Please be aware that the shuttle bus from NS Station Sneek back to P+R Schuttersveld will drive until 01.00 hrs.

Clothing

Clothing drop-off
Participants of the 21.1K (Half Mar-athon) and the 7.5K can drop-off their clothing at the parking/ shuttle bus location (P+R Schuttersveld). You can collect your bag at the finish on the Martiniplein until 22.30 hrs.

Shower and changing facilities
The Sneker Sporthal - Van Giffenstraat 3, 8601 EX Sneek - is open on Saturday from 17.00 until 23.00 hours. Here you will find clothing rooms and is possible to take a shower.

Helpdesk

For questions about your bib number on the day of the event you can come to the Helpdesk on the Martiniplein (finish) or at P+R Schuttersveld (shuttle bus station).

Prize giving ceremony

The prize giving ceremony for both the 21.1K (Half Mar-athon) and the 7.5K is at the stage on the Martiniplein. The following winners will be invited:
- First 3 men and first 3 women 21.1K (Half Mar-athon)
- First 3 men and first 3 women 7,5K
