Start on the longest Saturday of the year, June 24, 2023, for the full Mar-athon (42.195 km), half Mar-athon (21.1 km) or the quarter Mar-athon (10.5 km). Walk along the Sneker canals towards the dikes, meadows and of course the beautiful Snitser Mar. At the Mar-athon distance you literally walk on water thanks to a specially constructed pontoon!

21,1 km (Half Mar-athon)
The start of the half Mar-athon is in Terherne. Participants will be transported to the starting location by shuttle bus. NB! A challenging course has been set up through the Frisian nature. Experience it yourself!
7,5 km
The 7,5 km starts at the recreational area called 'De Potten. This distance is a great challenge for lovers of shorter distances, but also very suitable if you are not a very experienced runner and still want to taste the atmosphere of Sneek during the Marathon. Participants will be transported to the starting location by shuttle bus. All the runners will run together to the finish on Mar-tiniplein in Sneek, where you can reminisce about your performance at the Midzo-mar-Festival together.
